Mission

To be Ambassadors of Christ led by the Holy Spirit to Minister Christ’s love, encouragement, and care.
Psalm 71:18   Yes, even when I am old and gray-headed O God, forsake me not.  But keep me alive until I have declared Your mighty strength to this generation, and Your mighty power to all that are to come. ( Amplified version)

Vision

It is the vision of the   DARE ministry to help meet the needs of those 55+ in the congregation and community as well as to be an encouragement to Redwood Park Church.
 

Strategy

It is our strategy is to take Christ’s care and love to those 55+ in Redwood Park Church, and in the community with concrete programs that encourage.  We want to recruit those who have “hearts for God and the 55+ group to help in this ministry.  It is hoped that programs such as opportunities for Spiritual growth, prayer initiatives, support groups, health education, practical needs, visitation, outreaches, short and long term missions, service opportunities, and social and relationship building events; will help to meet needs of this group as well as encourage other believers to “run the race” of following Christ” all of their days.
 
 

Dare Prayer Group

Meets the second Tues. of every month in the corner windows room at the Redwood site at 11 p.m.
 
Feb. 12, March 11, April 8th
 
If you wish to share lunch together after the prayer meeting, please bring a bagged lunch.
