Doug has been the senior pastor of Redwood Park Church for over fifteen years, and has enjoyed watching our church family grow from two hundred to around a thousand people. Doug is married to his wife Jane, has three children: Meagan, Susan and Graeme, a couple of boarders, as  well as a black lab named, Sabu. Meal times at the Doyle household are always a party, but you might want to ask what it is you’re eating – as sometimes he enjoys a hike with a good friend and a gun in the beauty of the Northwestern Ontario bush. You can also follow Doug at his blog at http://missionalcanadian.com

Darryl and his beautiful wife Luana come to us from Orangeville where he served in our sister church in the C&MA for almost 10 years.  Darryl enjoys chasing his three children around the house as they celebrate every goal FC Bayern München scores.  He also enjoys golfing, canoeing, telling stories and writing bio’s in the third person.  You can find Darryl in the local coffee shop where he will be spending his time helping people live their dreams.  Darryl joins the staff team in January 2010.

Henry can be seen being tackled by JK/SK kids and hanging with FLIPT students all in the same week. Henry, his wife Erin and their four kids (Jeremiah, Elia, Anneliese and Maxson) are from the west coast of the US where Henry first experienced his conversion...from PC to Mac. If you ask him, he just might try and help you see the Apple at the end of the tunnel. Henry has a passion to help children and families become a part of missional community that impacts the community and world with Jesus. In his spare time, Henry enjoys spending time with his family, connecting with other leaders, and thinking through the mutual influence children's ministry and culture have on each other on his blog at http://www.elementalcm.com

Jarret's a musician, ex-football player, and a loyal Leafs fan. Jarret has a huge passion to see students connect with each other and grow deeply in their walk with God. Like Henry, Jarret is a lover of Apple. When he's not at Redwood planning Plunge events, picking worhip sets, or searching the internet for more gear, Jarret can be found spending time with his wife Kim or tweaking his ever-growing keyboard rig.

As a Vancouverite for the last 5 years and a Michigander for 13 years before that, Mark is ecstatic to be part of the Thunder Bay community and Redwood Park church.  Working with Youth With a Mission for the last 5 years has given Mark more perspective on how to care for the lost and hurting as well as teaching me more about compassion.  Mark is married to a wonderful woman and together they are raising 3 great kids.  The Davenports are super excited to have purchased a home here in Thunder Bay and can't wait to begin living the adventure they have so longed for since moving to Vancouver in 2004.  Mark loves people and hopes to meet many new friends in this next season of his life.

I am a pharmacist and a graduate of Briercrest Bible Institute with a pastoral theology degree. We have 6 children and 16 grandchildren and counting. I have a passion for missions and serving the Lord where needed. I enjoy travel, hockey, golf and compassionate ministries.

Paul took the leap across the "pond" from Belfast, Northern Ireland, to join what he would describe as a church that's exciting, energetic and passionate. Paul comes from a background in community based youth work, and work within the Health and Social Services in Belfast. He loves playing bass guitar and before coming to Canada played in a Belfast-based band and got to travel a lot while on tours around North America. He owns a 2 year old Royal Python that unfortunately had to stay in Ireland. He has a heart for seeing students move forward in their faith Journey and is excited about the next chapter of his life as part of the Redwood family.
 Paul Ireland
Pastoral Intern in
Student Ministries

Michael found his way to Thunder Bay after being a year out of college and living the musician's lifestyle in his home town of Nashville, Tennessee.  Having a heart for students, a strong passion for relationships and always being in new places doing new things, the opportunity to live in Confederation College's Residence as an in-house pastoral residence intern really excited him.  While Doug may give him a hard time about his lack of sleep habits, it's those very things which he enjoys: late late nights with students who don't sleep, talking into the wee hours of morning, and co-leading the collegiate ministry Threshold on Tuesday nights at Redwood. In his spare time, you can find Michael sneaking some time playing the drums.
